Paper plains

Dewayne Tucker

a paper bird i threw right above my bed, swimming through the heavens above my head, my flawed design wont let it go far running out of gas anticipating the crash, well i hope they made their amends slowly lower it floats im holding on the rope for hope since the rope they hold got wrapped around their throats, and the lower it goes makes it tighter, i hold my breath as they wait, thinking about last mistakes and how life was so great, now the paper brakes it was all just pretend i think ill make another again and again.
