The Deadly Hunt

SongsOfSorrow

In the dark I stalk my prey

As I do almost every day

They can run but they can't hide

Failure here would hurt my pride

Silently, without a sound

Can't hear my feet touch the ground

As I approach my heart is still

Trapped in the ecstasy of this thrill

I reach out and grab them, full of spirit

In victory I cry, "Tag, you're it!"

I did enjoy it! Thank you!
It reminded me of the children playing
    during recess.
    The Tag game was one
    of their favorites!
