Backseat

Tamara Lancaster

what if when it’s all over
we look back with fury and regret
from all the times we took a back seat
for the “ easy life “
all the times we took a back seat we were missing out on life’s beautiful opportunities
no matter how big or how small
taking a backseat in life
and watching the world go by
should never be an option
live in the now
grasp the opportunities
because when you’re in your last days
and your mind is on a constant loop
of the things you have done throughout your life
never regret all the opportunities you missed out on
because what if when you took a backseat you missed the chance to live
