A Free spirit with Constraints.

Beckii

I’m a free spirit with constraints.

I Roam the streets tied down

I’m that Angel without wings

I’m that Bird, whose been forbidden to

fly.

And like that Bird I am the sky,

free but yet forever blue, and doomed, to

live each day dying, a fear of breaking away, trying

even though that Bird dreams of flying.

Then, there’s that teacher

who has tales to tell, about

lying

Trails of tears

crying

Told she cannot

teach

But never gave up trying

And then there’s

that dog

Always wailing

A suppressed voice

No barking

A mind failing.

Now, I’m that soul who cannot die

I’m that’s star, hidden, not able

to shine

I’m that girl, lost, alone

no way home.

I’m a Free spirit with constraints.
