Horny Toad

Horny Toad

Where have all the horny toads gone

I used to see them often

In the hot afternoon

Where we often chased and caught them

They had a hunger for big red ants

And ate them every day

They caught them as they went about

The hill the ants had made

Their horny toad’s skin you could not miss

And was camouflage everywhere

With little horns on their heads

with a smooth belly when compared

I have heard it sometimes mentioned

That horny toads can squirt blood

I have never experienced such

But am a believer of

I'm not much of a toad guy, so I'm not very knowledgeable of what they do or don't do. But I do know when you catch one and hold it in your hand, you'll need to wash your hand afterwards. 'nuff said? Ok. ; ) Great write WC.
