Miles

Sandra

Fleeting thoughts,
Once upon your mind.
A loving embrace, or
A way to pass the time?
I am Seuss.
You; Thoreau.
Unable to read you,
Impossible code.
This puzzle I will never master,
These miles do nothing
To separate you from my mind.
Do I ever cross yours?

How can I ever understand somebody else if I don't even understand myself? Like the Seuss and Thoreau comparison! Well written, Sandra!

The agony of not knowing you write with honesty Sandra - -love can leap over miles - I love the final three lines of real poignancy.
