Ocean

Masking

She was an ocean, Floating around as she pleased.
She had drug me around with her wonderlous waves.
All my boats set course for her blue.
Deeper we went, But crushed and rusted as we ventured.
Closer we were, the more boats we saw. They too were forgotten.
And i came to know the sea of emotions, was unforgiving.
As her waters turned black. As did i.
I was lost here, and even then it was not time for beer.
Staring up i saw last sun, The last bright of the light.
And after all of this, Another boat. Had her waves, Consumed.
