The Living Curse

DarkNationLocal

I'm here to tell you, and openly confess.

There's something out there, that's an utter mess.

It roams the  earth, and causes pain.

When it comes to failure, Its probably to blame.

It could be calm, it could be nice.

But it's heart remains cold, like a block of ice.

It engages problems, and makes them worse.

What lays beneath, is definitely a curse.

It will run to your side, as if to care.

Then drive you insane, until you lose your hair.

It can comfort you, way in to the night.

But chooses a path, that starts a fight.

Surrounding your presence, with feelings of hate.

Crushing your dreams, and changing your fate.

Itll keep hurting you, even after you cry.

Itll leave you laying in bed, wanting to die.

With all that said, take a guess.

Think really hard, and try your best.

If you paid attention, your going to see.

That thing is a person,  and that person is me.

    Great poem

Ty, it came to me while reflecting on a recent period in time where my poor decision to fall back in to bad habits led me to turn in to an alternate state of character and create pain and sadness to those surrounding me. Although I suffered much pain and sorrow myself the first things that come to mind is the collateral damage created around me affecting everything I love which is what really matters
