Drop of hope

elenasky

She's walking down the street. Looking like an ordinary, small piece of an enormous grey mass. Soft wind touching her dark, satin hair as her forest green eyes childishly follow slowly moving clouds in the sky. She has so much to say... Yet stays quiet. She's silent, for she's afraid to be left misunderstood.

Sometimes, when she feels lonely, when her aura drowns in the sea of endless sadness, she keeps on dreaming. Dreaming that one day the whole world will drastically change...

She hopes that somewhere near, really close there is another world. A different place. A world unruled by the beauty of the face, a world where everyone can feel safe. There's no pain or lies, there's love so honest and so deep. And yet she knows, when the time comes, she will have to come back to the not so perfect reality...

She's walking with the strangers. People, that she also calls her friends. Everything around her seems so fake. All this grey mass — that's people. They wear those dirty, lying masks. And what is hiding under them might be sincere and pure beings.

You can see her smiling. She takes one more deep breath of fresh air and finally closes her eyes knowing that one morning when she wakes up, somewhere in the world a miracle will be waiting for her... One day, when no one is expecting it, it will come...
