Bravery

There is this saying people say,

You can have anything you crave,

There is this saying people say,

You just have to be brave.

 

So bravery can get it, right?

It can take the pain.

Stop me feeling insane.

 

Mind over matter, they tell you,

Think and ye shall achieve.

Mind over matter, they tell you.

And you will reach your dreams.

 

Dreaming will not make it work. Will not place the impossible in reach.

My dreams lie far across the sea, across the open beach,

Sand and wheels do not mix, I learnt that the hard way,

The waves they taunt me, bringing dreams closer, but they never stay.
