moderndisclosure

my head drifts into the glittering sunlight, the rest of my body slinks into the shadows

my heart beats slower and my breathing becomes audible

the feeling of vacancy and heartbreak erupts from my lungs and spreads across my shoulders, that were once kissed on a cold night below christmas lights

the sun then substituted those kisses over time with its own, hundreds of them

it gave me a new glow, the sun is my lover

the rain is my mother, the wind is my father

i know no other, i lost every root of love along this immoral road that I've been dancing upon

except my own, i am the twisted and wicked brain with an overcast of raw love

i will love violently until i find what I've lost

I've now moved my body upwards

my heart is sun soaked along with my spacey head

i am the sun, i am my own lover

i light you up and kiss you distantly

i ensure you pain the longer you stay around and the closer i get

i'm always here, burning myself over the look i saw on your face the last time i saw you

even when it's dark and you spend so long looking and waiting for me

truly, i never left
