So Many Shoes

 

A lot can be said about shoes

As styles vary a lot

Some wear cowboy boots

Others wear sandals and socks

 

There are some that wear high heels

And balance with great care

Their toes all cramped and hurting

And precarious when climbing stairs

 

Tennis shoes are very good

And are popular for playing sports

Racing and stopping fast

And frequently worn with shorts

 

Others like hiking boots

With their rugged appeal

Getting traction while in the mud

And when climbing up a hill

 

Dress shoes are very stylish

At more formal affairs

Shiny black with leather soles

With many a comfortable pair

 

House shoes are also popular

All comfortable and soft

Worn with pajamas

And while sipping coffee hot

    I got me house shoes on, sitting by the fire, with me Horlicks! Or Ovaltine! I would have a pipe too, but not light up, as smoking is bad for health. Good write wc.
