something left behind

Never had that dad mine wasn't looking back. He kept moving forward, never turning back. I wore the red cap, he did back then. When he and mom met, its the same color hat. Call that matching so, he can spot me in the lost crowd wherever i go. Haven't met dad yet, i can spot him in the lost crowd wherever he goes. Same color hat though. Double decade passed, 20 now, seven years till golden age. Better late than never safe and sound in heavens gates, one day. I had a dad but never but he never looked back. Same color hat. He kept moving forward, never turning back. Loving him is like he's rose on debri and im jack. Drowning frozen down wearing that same color hat. Its sad really if you think about life, everyone will love you once you flat line i swear i had a dream and of better times. I swear i had a dream of a better life. As the loss of thought and shortened breath, secrets silence to myself i always kept never asking where he went, wishing of a different death.

When i was alive, i used to walk passed apple trees. Then i heard a rumor of a better lie, granted by forbidden fruit from this knowledge tree. In the center of downtown, branches growing apples. Roots popping out the ground. Living style adjusted around this one seed. Turned into a tree that turned good people into assholes. Unlucky me the apple didn't fall far, but into the greener side. Curiosity killed my cat, im a dog person so it really didn't bother me. At the age of seventeen met a snake on the other side. Whom whispered happy thoughts altering my memory. Knowledge is key to the secret elevator going up in life. Thought outside the box light bulb on, how to make it far. Picked out an apple soft not hard pulled out the seeds, now in my backyard. I have a lemon tree.

See I never had that dad he never looked back. He kept moving forward, never turning back. Even to this day wearing the same color hat. Not in the same lane, but hes still not looking back. Even to this day i never got to see his face. I see hes taken off the same color hat, but still, nothing has changed.
