I am the dream

respinoza

Dare not say “dreams do not happen”

Dare not say “it is futile to dream”

Dare not say “dreams are only for fools”

But rather say, “fool I may be branded; but I am the dream”

Rare specimen I am; I am the dream

I was born to fly; soar to heights unknown

Navigate places; leave landmarks to show

I am the foundation for generations to follow

Envy me not; for I am in you

I am in your thoughts, I rest in you

I rise early, roaring in your heart

Feel the beating? I am the dream

Ambition I am not; I am the dream

Riches I am not, I am more than that

Power I am not, that I can squash

I am above all, I am the dream

Meditate of me, for I am the dream

I change history, I inspire change

I am the principle behind satisfaction

I put silence to the longing of the soul

Yes, I may be the dreamer, but aren’t we all?

We are not fools after all, we are the dream.
