The Crystal Palace

PoeticPsycho

Inside the crystal palace
Where the king was praised as if god-like
And poison rituals were held
The emaciated are the ones who in this place once dwelled

Going to desperate measures
To get their shares of temporary pleasure

Into the palace happily they went
Knowing that only an insidious death awaited them

  • Comment from author about the poem: By crystal palace I mean a house in which they were selling crystal meth and there were meth addicts living in it because of their high addiction. This is based on something real that I saw before it was raided. Feel free to give feedback, it is appreciated.
