Today is Veteran's Day,
A very special time of year,
It's a time to be very proud,
And, to hold so very dear.
It's a time to thank those men and women,
And, to go up and shake their hand,
Because, they really did a lot for this country,
And, they did take a stand.
We should all put our flags out,
And, be proud of who we are,
This country is the best,
And, we know that by far.
HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!!

- Comment from author about the poem: Whenever I see a veteran I always go up to them and say thank you. That's the least we can do for what they did for our country.
