Maps plastered to my walls
Journey plans engraved into my mind
Postcards of glorious sights
Stacked in the hidden corner of my room.
They say
"Not all those who wander are lost"
But I'd give everything
To be lost in this magnificent world.

Yes, I get what you are saying. What a great poem, Skye! I once had the travel bug. I hope one day you get to see magnificent things!
Thank you Christina! I really do hope so too!
Skye, I really like this poem. So well written, great last line!
Do travel as much as you can and try to see the world through the eyes of the people you meet. Keep an open mind, and as Santi already said, write your impressions down, preferably while you travel.
There's nothing I'd love more than to see the world Fred, thank you for always commenting! 🙂
