the fight against monotony

Ed

Wake up

Eat

Go to bed

Sleep

Monotony does not exist

We are just too weak to commit

Commit to a life where we search

Eyes wide looking for the good in each day

As we walk on the road we should play

Play games in our minds

Imagine kingdoms where we rule

Only the grown-ups are cruel

They are silly, they don't know

They touch, smoke and drink they think that is fun

We see the joy in every day because we eat and do not think

We sing but do not listen

We yell and we cry

We can be cheeky and sly

But above all we love

Love regardless of our neighbour's soul

We can watch without being watched

We smile and do not have to explain why

complexity is our demon

simplicity is our haven

We slide, glide and scream into everyday with a

banggggg, crash and wallopp
