" WHEN WE WISH THAT WE COULD CHANGE
THE FACTS OF LIFE THAT BROUGHT IS PAIN
ERASE THE THOUGHTS WITH IN OUR HEADS
DEPICTED BY THE DEVIL'S MEDS
HE HIDES HIMSELF OH ALL SO WELL
IN PLEASURES YET SO WE CAN'T TELL
WE MUST IGNORE THIS TEMPTED FATE
CAUSE IN YOUR HEART HE'll PLANT HIS HATE
FOR IT'S HIS GOAL AND IT''S HIS GATES
SO ANYTIME HE TRY'S TO DWELL
INTO YOUR LIFE AND BRING YOU HELL
WE OPEN UP OUR MINDFULL EYES
FOR THRU THE LORD THERE'S NO DISGUISE
NO THAT GOD IS THERE FOR YOU
IN TIMES OF OLD AND DAY'S NEW
THE VENGANCE THAT HE HOLD'S FOR SIN
THE DEVIL KNOWS HE'LL NEVER WIN!

- Comment from author about the poem: We so often forget that everything we do and pursue is all durived from a simple thought we once had. Our thoughts are the keys to our destiny and few rarley perceive this oh so simple concept to stop and think about what you are thinking about!

Erm, I thought about this, and thought it is a good write. Then I thought so much about it, that I forgot to remember what else I needed to think about for the day!
