Seventeen Minutes

haileyyfosterr

Sneaking in a window.
You and I in a dark room.
Both hearts torn before.
But that’s okay baby, because we’re here tonight
Pull me closer and hug me tighter.
Make me feel like we’re in love
Let me help you get over her, and help me get over him.
Baby, just be mine for that 17 minutes.
Baby I need you, and you need me.
But love isn’t meant for either of us.
You give me a feeling of hope and security for a mater of seventeen minutes.
Grab me harder and let me feel your heart beat against mine for the last minute.
It’s over, our time is up.
We’re back to heartbreak and loneliness.
See you at our next seventeen minutes.
