Kite-Flying Contest
We searched for the jet stream
As we let it fly
There were other kites there too
And they competed in the sky
We used a fishing pole
To let the line all out
Others dived and crashed
As they flew about
We took 3rd place that day
But lost our kite to gusts
We found it a mile away
Though it was broken stuff
There would be another day
When our kite would fly again
With the resurrected frame
Sailing through the wind
We could barely be patient
Until that day would come
We would have another chance
To be the number 1
