Scars

olivergreenwood19

There are new scars now,

and these i cannot hide.

They are not on my body

Instead on my mind.

It was already fragile,

Already cracked

And now thanks to you

My mind is hijacked.

It flew towards love,

It desired success,

But you changed its direction

And now its a mess.

Now, it flies towards pain

It warns of distrust

The knife is at my wrists

and this time I must.

I was not great.

Hell not even good.

Nobody cares.

And nobody should.

There are new scars now

These on my wrists

You have broken my mind

And led me to this.
