- They say class is in session and my mind begins to start stressing
People think that I’m funny but that's how show my depression
- People that don’t know me they call me a big phony
They say I’m lonely that we should have a stoning
- My family wants to know what has become of their son
They say to finish high school go to college get that income
- Listen to my shaking start before my rhymes fall apart
Wait a couples seconds before my mind hits restart
- They say class is in session and my mind begins to start stressing
People think that I’m funny but that’s how I show my depression
- The people that call me phony don’t know that I brought some homies
Go ahead and call me lonely but we will see who takes part in that stoning
- My family wants to know what has become of their son
They see he passed high school and has friends and has fun
- Listen to my aching heart before my mind falls apart
Wait a couple of seconds before life decides to start

Thank you for that message. I love the ending.
Thx shadow
Just found this poem and truly enjoyed it. Wonderfully crafted, and always good to know that there are kindred spirits out there.
Thank you very much Lee
You speak it from your heart
Exposing your hidden parts
Those who find solitude in loneliness
Are seldom understood by phoniness
So well written
So well expressed
thanks
