It is something that I don’t understand and will be in eternal confusion.
How your face lit up like the lights on a tree.
Your bliss is something I wish for.
The ability to fly like a bird, a phoenix
High, bright, loud, proud, shouting for endless freedom.
Away, away you said to the dust and dirt.
Away, away you flew, and away you left so quickly.
Banishing anything left of your old life,
Sending no pigeon or owl with a letter attached, unless to deliver supplies for the winter.
Look how you’ve grown! Into a majestic mustang of the north!
You gracefully gallop with your new herd.
With the ground supporting you and the wind lifting you up.
There will come a spring day where you will not come back.
Dear sister tell me, do you miss me?
