Paranoid Floyd

Edthepoet

Who told you, to act confused
By every move I make
Who told you, to act amused
By everything I say

Who made you, read the news, and believe who's to blame
Who made you, turn the screw, and try to seal my fate

I'm losing grip, It starts to split
Knuckles turning white
I'm gonna slip, It starts to rip
Nowhere left to hide
They're closing in, where have you been
We're running out of time
They're closing in, what have you seen
Looking in from the outside

Who told you, to trap the truth
In every frame they play
Who told you , to tie the noose
Round everyone I hate

What gives you, the right to choose, whether I go or stay
What gives you, the right to lose, sight of the light of day

I'm losing grip, It starts to split
Knuckles turning white
It's gonna slip, It starts to rip
Nowhere left to hide
They're closing in, where have you been
We're running out of time
They're closing in, what have you seen
Looking in from the outside
