I give him my best smile
and say I love you to
But this ends today
With my heart in pieces I walk away
Only to turn and shout ill stay
to see him kissing another
while i frown from far away
Forever I will miss you
Always I will love you
Together i wish we were
But distance is what is between us

Very revealing, the rhythm and cadence of this is great. Opening your heart and showing your pain is the good stuff of writing and being able to show that in the way you did is the amazing stuff.
