Worshipful Wonderings

orchidee

Tune: Woodlands

('Tell out my soul')

*******

O song a song, sing praises all day long

Hearts be uplifted, join the angel throng

Though they ne'er cease, and 'holy' be their cry

They worship Him, the one who ne'er can die

Yet we our voices unto Him too raise

From treasures new and old we give our praise

To worship God, and Christ His only Son

And Holy Spirit, the blessed three in one

In formal style or extempore free

The Lord seeks such as who their worship be

In spirit and in truth to Him alone

The great God, He revealed to us, made known

Add talents, gifts of playing instruments

Sing with understanding and give the sense

Of words, and all invited, all welcome

Contribute your part, excluded are none

Make melody, with tunes harmonious

Give Him the best, the best He gave to us

Christ's life given in our place on the cross

Then rose again, there no eternal loss

Beauty for ashes, joy for mourning He

Will give us, we made righteous in Him, see

And garment of praise for the heavy hearts

Robe of righteousness He to each imparts

Thank you Orchidee for this lovely tribute to God.
In spite of all that we go through in our lives. God is good all the time.
