Sometimes it must snow

Cristina1900

I told him that I love life with a blue passion

and people with a gray one.

he was an angel whom I dated on the net

on a day with snow like hell

we sat in an underground passage

and my heart thumped

each time the tram passed over us

I slowly sipped my coffee

and he looked at me breathing through his scarf

without moving

we stood there in silence

I told him that I was alone

and that I don't have the heart to leave anyone alone

that somebody has to pay the bill

he stood with me over an hour

with his faraway look

he left no money and went out

the moment when it stopped snowing

as if he knew
