Amazing grace! I sit and wait
To find the peace I need!
Apon these shores, my heart is yours
Please teach me how to see
’Twas pain that taught my heart to bleed,
And grace to heal those wounds;
How gently did it help me breathe
When faith said let go and all returns.
So I've learnt to play your tune
Sending love to the ones I miss
With this vibration and energy
May it hold them when I'm not near

Nice one. ..
Much appreciated. Thank you
Good write Dan. It's me fussing about metres again! Or syllables-per-line! This almost fits to the hymn of the same name, with adjustments here and there.
Any excuse will do, for me/us to sing it! lol.
Thank you so much, there are many more words in my head mixed with feeling when I play, it was hard for me to put them down to read 😉
Poetic Dan,
A beautiful write...especially the last stanza! Enjoyed the read and the video! Is that you in the video?
~Laura~
Thank you and yes it is me lol
A touching read Dan - - a gentle reminder too of the value of faith - thanks for the lovely video.
Thank you, I hope I can keep hold of it lol
Beautiful poem Dan! Glad you learned to play 'the tune'!
Thank you buddy right now music is my only way of channelling my emotions, that won't get me in trouble 😉
