Amazing grace by the shore

Poetic Dan

Amazing grace! I sit and wait
To find the peace I need!
Apon these shores, my heart is yours
Please teach me how to see

’Twas pain that taught my heart to bleed,
And grace to heal those wounds;
How gently did it help me breathe
When faith said let go and all returns.

So I've learnt to play your tune
Sending love to the ones I miss
With this vibration and energy
May it hold them when I'm not near

      Good write Dan. It's me fussing about metres again! Or syllables-per-line! This almost fits to the hymn of the same name, with adjustments here and there.
      Any excuse will do, for me/us to sing it! lol.

        Thank you so much, there are many more words in my head mixed with feeling when I play, it was hard for me to put them down to read 😉
