"THE GIRLFRIEND"

isabel henkel

I am the girlfriend. I am the girlfriend that buys her boyfriend snacks as a way to show love because she can't express her fucking emotions. I am the girlfriend who tries to find all the time in the world to be with her boyfriend because she has nothing better to do other than sit in her room and wonder if she's going to be cheated on. I am the girlfriend who either talks too much or says nothing at all. I'm the girlfriend who stays up a night wondering how her boyfriend would feel if she just dropped dead overnight. I'm the girlfriend who thinks that each and every word that comes out of her mouth is impulsive said because she doesn't know how to shut her trap.I'm the girlfriend who frequently talks about her 18-year ex-boyfriend because she can't get over the fact that the relationship with a 15-year-old and an 18-year-old didn't work out like some fairytale ending.I'm the girlfriend who is scared to each too much in front of the boyfriends parents because she thinks shell looks like a pig.I'm the girlfriend who stays up till midnight thinking about the way future when her life isn't even planned out.I'm the girlfriend who has a mental breakdown because she doesn't know what to wear to impress the boyfriend who she thinks doesn't notice him.I'm the girlfriend who tries there hardest to love there boyfriend that they don't have any thing similar with but glasses and a life at school. I'm the girlfriend who bottles up her emotions so when her boyfriend asks "are you ok?" I can say yes even if I don't mean it. I'm the girl who has to pretend that she fine for her boyfriend because she thinks saying "no I'm not fine." will make the whole fucking earth explode.I'm the girlfriend who thinks if she's gone too long while taking up her lunch tray, then her boyfriend will fall in love with "perfect best friend". I'm the girlfriend who only has male friends and female acquaintances she thinks men are less drama and bullshit to deal with. I'm the girlfriend who thinks that her boyfriend doesn't find her attractive, so she won't eat until she's thin to the bone before she has enough confidence to say "Am I beautiful enough for you?". Im that girlfriend.

well, being beautiful for you isn't the only question you need to ask. men are just as fussy and if not more so than women. you have left a lasting impression on what a girlfriend goes through. my suggestion is try a girlfriend, become bi-sexual like me and have fun on both sides of sexual preferences. we all have our emotions running wild when things don't turn out right for us. I wish you luck for the future relationships you have. you have left a powerful statement which we all need to learn about.
