padded room

here

padded room

no one holds the key but me

rocking in the safety

going insane

white walls

nothing can hurt me

can hear the thunder

something outside

other people pounding

dont stop leave me dont leave me

they know im here

they can see me

i cant see them

i want to

are they friendly?

are they here to rescue me?

am i an animal bashing my head on a cage.

am i safe

will i hurt them

what is the time

am i here forever

rocking in my safety

my head!

im going insane

ive got the key

is it safe?

the thunder is overwhelming

in my head

are they making that sound

or am i?

they want to get in.

will they tire?

what then

thats it

just me-----

did i miss my chance.

ah! ive got the key.

how will i fare out there

NO

keep rocking

dont stop knocking

i want to hear the thunder.

im blind

white not black

white walls
