Dream Destructor

Kal

Weighty rubble compressed upon me lay

For mere survival I desperately pray

The smoke filled dusty earth I inhale

I lay so still losing the will to fight

Feeling the darkness invade my sight

Waiting for my breath to cease

Ready to enter the realm of peace

I dream....

I dream of a land so far away

So bright n beautiful on a hot summers day

The cool blue sky hovering above

The atmosphere so full of love

The long green grass softly lapping

Against my cheeks whilst im napping

The blades of palm swaying in the breeze

Precious moments to capture to freeze

The gentle waterfall comes gracefully down

Makes me smile no hint of a frown

Fruits so juicy hanging low

So ripe so fresh so huge they grow

Platters of food so tantalising

Grand banquets ever so inviting

I struggle to forget where i am

Im suffocating now oh damn...

Who are you to destroy my dreams

You have no heart no soul it seems

A purge of repulsion expels me from the ground

As i rise to a world of unimaginable sound

I give up and enter the stench of death

And willfully squeeze out a final breath
