The Hopeless Insurmountability of Life

whoweare

How do I know?

What's truth today?

It changes each and every day!

One day they say

the meat is sweet

but then soon they tell

It's diseased! it kills! It kills!

Of one thing is certain

only this I know

Nothing is true,

Such a blow!

But yet! Oh no!

We cling to our "stats"

defend them as fact

fight for them as life

These thoughts, falsities rife,

are eyes, for without we do not see

 Any "reality".

The sight gives peace, gives purpose,

makes life lively.

But is sight the curse?

the red death that convulses society?

Brings humanity to its knees?

Is it better to know nothing is true?

Or think "I am right"

Ignorance is bliss.

Knowledge is sorrow.

Ignorance breaks

Knowledge protects.

Rotting joy, Weeping health.

Which is better? Which is for you?

This is life. This is the choice.

Searching for better is moot.

Erm, may have to come back to this. I didn't get much further than 'insurmountability'. A word too big for me this time of the morning (in UK)! heehee.
