Tranquil Tempest

GeraldineTaylor

Twas a stormy night
O’ tormented waves
Across the Sea of Galilee
Sweeping storms of surfaces spread
Tempestuous tempest, torrential rain
Of fear again, several sailors, fearful men
A gushing wave, to break the side
Visions of a sinking ship
Such stifled disciples
Their master still asleep
Lain down in tranquil rest
Such measures of a test
A cause to then arise, he opened up his eyes
They of little faith
Words spoken, of winds rendered still
Of tempest ceased, a calming storm
Such winds and waves obey him
To know the Son of man
