Don't trust anyone

upinmyfeelings_

When you try to fly and the very people you want to save are the ones standing on your cape,

act like you trust them, but don't trust anyone.

The worst thing was the empty promise 'I'll never let anyone hurt you' yet they were the first.

The things you've seen and heard sometimes you wish you could erase away.

Now you understand the saying 'what you don't know won't hurt you'.

Act like you trust them, but don't trust anyone.

What have you done to deserve this?

You were their helping hand when they needed you and this is what you get in return.

strangely enough you have no feelings towards this,

your numb not angry nor sad or happy

but grateful that you've seen their true colours.

Act like you trust them but don't trust anyone
