Grumpy Grandad

Tiny8790

Wee called you grumpy granddad
When we where young and free
Wee never understood you
Or what life is meant to be

To us your grumpy granddad
Tattoos from head to toe
The fear you didn't have or
That you didn't show.

He sang a song of six pence
And daisy daisy too
Fee fi foe fum we played
Not a day way blue

the childhood years are gone
But the memories will remain
Of all the fish and the birds
Of sheebas over and over again

We might all have got older
But we never far apart
There is a special place for you
Granddad in every grandchilds heart
