Swallowing of dark, Shrine ward off the light
Shadows come forth to dwindle the bright
Its flickers and wavers with warm solar might
Alone in the dark it brawls with the night
Birthed from a star my son burst into glare
Burning hallowed wax with an angels flare
Flame scorching hot the black which I scare
Echoing heat I breathe of the air
I may be small but my spirit rages on
Radiant in life I'll soon be gone
The Way of my fire my will burns long
The darkness creeps slowly but I shine strong
Extinguish thyn essence and grant but one wish
Summoning of lung wind may my strength diminish
Sweeping sharp gust with the coldest soft kiss
Smoke in my presence my sight extinguished.

I love it! This conjures up some brilliant mental images with fantastic rhythm, rhyme, and use of vocabulary. We'll done, really!
