Hanging by the bottle

Carmine

one

two

three

bottles of emptiness

four

five

six

hours of walking

seven

eight

nine

empty and hollow thoughts

singing the same lines

three bottles

of empty light

three bottles

of complete silence

every drop

is

every second

a

person could

have been out there

walking

with

ten

choices up their sleeve.

but of course

they closed all the ten

doors

empty in the room

you count

eleven bottle caps

but that last one

isn't yours

hello!

anyone there?

Silence that came of seeing

my bottle

hanging out by your

hollow and empty bottles

made you happy

in one and two ways

you are not alone.
