At the dog park, one fateful may,
it started just like any other day.
Dog owners with time to walk their mutts,
they stopped to sniff each others butts.
Hearts flittered and fluttered as a precious dove,
two doggies begin to fall in love.
A casino they went to on their first date,
when they had left; it was rather late.
Poker is what they had to play,
since dogs cannot dance the night away.
She finds him rather fetching, quite good with a stick.
Whenever he sees her, he does a neat trick.
Roll over, play dead when he sees her,
He cannot resist her lovely fur.
The wedding they had wasn’t really big.
The parents, some friends, and a lot of cooked pig.
As dogs cannot give great wedding vows,
so instead they let out some great long howls!
Woof, Woof, goodbye, and see you soon!
But first we will go on our honeymoon!
That is if dogs could get married...
