Beyond Repair

SquareGirl

You didn't care for me
Not the same way I did for you
I would have walked through hell for you
I changed my whole life for you
I supported you when you had nothing
But that wasn't enough was it
You took me for granted
And you left me stranded
You left me alone when I needed you most
Now every day I'm haunted by your ghost
You showed me the light
And gave me Something to Believe In
But love is blinding
I couldn't tell The Light Came From Your Flames
I couldn't see it consuming everything
When you put the light out I can finally see
Your destruction all around me
You left a scar that will remain
Everytime I see it I remember the pain
Hearts are fragile
I trusted you with mine
I thought you would protect it
I thought you were kind
But you didn't care
When you give it back
It was beyond repair
