Whisper Me Gently.

kevin browne

Whisper me gently fairy-tale faith
Kiss me a hand from God
Lord almighty me more
Believe in the human race.

Love me dandy with daffodil dearly
Place me a gift of guardian
Take two-three or even four
Then you reveal more clearly.

Have me and hold me hopefully
The story starts to unfold
If me but kiss me Jesus in Jerusalem
Pray me a bible twice daily.

Hear me and dear me making marvels
Listen me play up the game
Trick me a tidy ten plus twelve
Roll up a magic from marble'

Starlight me sunshine and sorrow
Weather me up in a storm
Sweep me out in Atlantic sea
Set sail some love for tomorrow.

Dance me til the dead of dawn
Misty me dew drops daisy
With a flake of snowdrop sun
Garden me mowing the lawn.

Write me with a poets pen, please
Tell me sad stories silently sleep
Of King and Queen in honour
Crown me down on my knees.

Break me a sword somewhere sworn
Cut me size me up and see
Where blood runs in and out of life
Another me broke and torn.

End me forgive me forcefully forever
Goodbye me til or today takes a toll
Paying me poetry perfectly, please
Picture me sun behind some new weather.

I love the way you use the verbs iand play with the nouns in this picture of love needing the allness of every experience. My favourite stanza if I had to choose would be this one - - "Dance me til the dead of dawn
    Misty me dew drops daisy
With a flake of snowdrop sun
Garden me mowing the lawn." An exciting piece of work Kevin and am so glad to have caught the read.

The fifth stanza and the last line are my favorites in this beautifully written poem drenched with hopefulness! I very much enjoyed the read, Kevin!
