Rosie Lee Sure Loved Me.

kevin browne

Would you take my hand
Would you take my peace
I'll give you all I keep
I'll pray the Lord
When you kiss my soul
When you wish me blues
My passion creeps
Your eyes fall deep
Shall I love you strong
Shall I love you wrong
Do shadows shine
With oasis wine
Would you break my heart
Would it tear apart
I'll trust us to be brave'
I'll take you to my grave
When you find the time
When you know you're mine
Do the stars tell lies
With shining lights
Can I kiss your brow
Can I love right now
Rosie Lee sure loved me
Right until the end.

A tenderly written declaration which I hope Rosie Lee treasured my friend. A really appealing read Kevin.

Thanks, Fay, I do dream a lot you know so this poem was written with the imagination. I love the name 'Rosie Lee' so just thought she loves me a little.
