Chocolate Chip Cookies

Accidental Poet

 

When it comes to snack time

You know I ain’t no rookie

Especially when it came to

Those Chocolate Chip Cookies

 

When I was just a boy

Momma knew how to bring me home

Through open windows the smell

Would find me and ring like a phone

 

She knew I’d be smilin’ when

She fired up that oven

Cause it wouldn’t be long

For a handful I’d be lovin’

 

There’s lots of yummy treats

Brownies, cookies and ice cream

But few treats so good

Would bring forth a delicious scream

 

If I had to pick a favorite

It’d be the Chocolate Chip Cookie

Steal it from my hand you might hear

The wail of the Star Wars Wookie

            Good write and fine biscuits but my favourite are Bourbon Biscuits
