Foods I’ve Tried
Blackbird pie is a favorite
But I don’t like eating crow
And I enjoy frog legs sometimes
When I am feeling bold
Quail is very good sometimes
Especially wrapped in bacon
It makes me smile inside
When my appetite it has taken
Crawfish is hard to beat
Especially when they’re shelled
And who could pass up pigeon
Or emu roasted well
I have had goat milk
And the cheese that it makes
And I have tasted turtle
And had delicious swordfish steaks
Ostrich makes a savory meal
With a scrambled egg a feast
And rattlesnake has its fans
When it’s time to eat
I’ve enjoyed many foods
And had variety in my life
And I’ll try many more of them
All baked, broiled, and fried
