An excited Exchange student descends at Terminal 3, Heathrow,
Hatton Cross, the expectant mother smiles with her radiant glow.
Lustful teenage boys at Hounslow West exchange views on Nicki Minaj,
Osterley, two pensioners argue over Brexit and Mr Farage.
A couple exit at Boston Manor for a romantic day in the park,
The busker at Northfield plays his saxophone until dark.
South Ealing, the mother cajoles her baby not to frown,
The train arrives at long last, home at Acton Town.

- Comment from author about the poem: The London Underground, where would any Londoner be without this main transport network system. The Piccadilly Line apart from covering Central London and all the main tourist attractions branches out locally. From Acton in West London in both directions it connects to Heathrow Airport ready for anyone to make a quick getaway in the sun.
