I tell you in an age where everyone is allowed to be vulnerable
I like to be strong
that doesn't make me stifled
that doesn't mean I'm wrong
stop looking at me for softness
stop searching my cheeks for tears
I'm happy with my armour
I've been this way for years

- Comment from author about the poem: I was frustrated when someone said that I was difficult to love because I couldn't be vulernable. I think being vulnerable with someone is something they should earn, I wanted to demonstrate that strength can JUST mean strength.
