On Earth As It Was

swamp

I left my soul at home when I went to war,

The violence that surrounded me made my heart hate for more,

Witnessed children and parents cry as they watched their heroes die,

Nightmares and paralysis are results of what goes on inside my mind,

Too explicit for this damned world to hear it,

If you're weak or soft hearted then the devil will spear it,

God's glory is a long story of my rebirth,

Complete the mission, avoid submission, and retaliate over turf,
