The beginning

lc1231

I’ve come to envy those before
When to entertain you would explore
Instead of looking in the shops
You’d lay within the dusty crops
Look up at the sky above
And see a beautiful soaring dove
Now you see smoke and must
From those who within have a lust
But when you leave this world behind
What will you have left to mine
The memories of a past life
Spent dwelling on a random strife
So live and laugh while you can
And remember the time
When life began
