I'll take you there

squeakyfluff

Sit with me
under a tree
we'll write a poem
It'll be lovely

What comes to mind
When our eyes find
soak in the view
and let our thoughts unwind

Catch your smile
In a glimpse of an eye
Such a lovely view
Both you and the sky

Without a nightmare
I can take you there
Relieved of stress
As I play with your hair
My words are true
You know I care
So sit back and smile
And one day, I swear
I'll take you there
