Be nice

There are days when you don’t realise,

The darkness in our world.

Those dirty looks and nastiness 

That people keep preserved. 

But there are days, 

Where we all feel, 

so very much in pain. 

Because kindness goes out of fashion quick 

and anger comes to reign. 

Maybe one day, we’ll realise, that

that being kind, doesn’t have a price. 

People will stop fighting each other,

and just for once,

Be nice.
